Rapeseed

Rapeseed is an oilseed plant mainly grown in the Hauts-de-France, Grand Est and Ile-de-France regions for human and animal consumption and the production of biofuels.

To meet these production targets, Angibaud has developed complete, effective and sustainable nutrition programs including organic fertilizers, leaf nutritional supplements and biostimulants, influencing crop yield and quality.

Key fertilization aspects

Fertilization of rapeseed must be considered throughout its growth cycle.

Ensure establishment and vegetative vitality is essential prior to winter so as not to limit yield potential. Considered a demanding crop, the addition of phosphorus is recommended to promote the establishment and development of the root system and to stimulate vegetative activity in the spring, when the supply and availability of soil nutrients may be limited (cold soil, high pH, etc.).

Nitrogen, an essential growth factor, is applied as soon as vegetation starts to grow to promote plant growth. Associated with sulphur, another essential element of rapeseed nutrition, their synergy promotes the assimilation of elements by the plant. Rapeseed also mobilises a significant amount of potassium, a contribution is recommended In the event of insufficient supply by the soil.

During the bolting period, the supply of trace elements, such as boron and molybdenum, is necessary to ensure fertility, silique filling and nitrogen assimilation. The prevention and correction of these deficiencies are essential to avoid penalising the yield potential and the quality of the harvest.

During its growth cycle, oilseed rape is generally subjected to various abiotic stresses that affect its growth. To enrich the physiology of the plant and limit the depressive effects of stresses, Angibaud has developed a complete range of approved biostimulants concentrated in amino acids, laminaria algae or humic substances.

Solutions and a program adapted to each situation encountered

Pepton 85-16®

Approved biostimulant WG concentrated in free amino acids – AMM 1190424

Pepton 85-16 provides a gain of energy directly assimilated by the plant to ensure growth or crop recovery after a period of stress.
Pepton 85-16 triggers numerous metabolic reactions, including pseudo-hormonal actions that promote plant resistance to abiotic stress situations (drought, low and high temperatures, etc.).
Form WG, Pepton 85-16 is easily used in all soil fertilisation strategies, whether liquid fertilization or leaf application.
Pepton 85-16 is a product that can be used in organic farming.

85% amino acids, of which 16% are free

Céréphos K+®

Leaf nutrient complex: phosphorus, Potassium and magnesium

Céréphos K+ supports the plantation and quickly restarts photosynthetic activity at the end of winter.
Céréphos K+ provides soluble nutrients, in addition to the soil supply, at key stages of growth.
Céréphos K+ is a practical and easy-to-use solution whose action is independent of pedo-climatic conditions.

400 g/l P2O5 + 100 g/l K20 + 90 g/l MgO

Chopin+®

Leaf nitrogen-sulphur nutrient complex

Chopin+ prevents and corrects sulphur deficiencies in all crops. The formulation associated with nitrogen reinforces its assimilation in the plant.
Chopin+ provides soluble nutrients, in addition to the soil supply, at key stages of growth. Chopin+ is a practical and easy-to-use solution whose action is independent of pedo-climatic conditions.

Securing yields with sulphur

Sulphur is mobilised from bolting to flowering and plays an essential role in protein synthesis and carbon metabolism (photosynthesis, etc.).

The assimilation of sulphur by the leaves and roots is often hindered by poor crop establishment or limiting soil and climatic conditions (cold, rainfall…). This reduced availability adversely affects the yield potential. To complete the soil supply and ensure the availability of sulphur, Angibaud recommends the leaf application of Chopin+®, an efficient liquid nitrogen + sulphur solution to preserve capital.

To meet the nutritional needs of organic crops, Angibaud recommends the use of Geodyn NS®, a liquid suspension concentrated in organic nitrogen and molecular sulphur to prevent and correct sulphur deficiency in all crops.

Localised fertilization is a recognised and validated technique for promoting crop establishment and start-up.
